What is the IMDA Manufacturers Forum?
The IMDA Manufacturers Forum, held during IMDA's Annual Management Conference, brings manufacturers of innovative medical devices together with the distributors and reps who can bring them to market.

How does it work?
Held in conjunction with receptions and breaks during Days 1 and 2 of the Annual Conference, the Forum offers manufacturers the opportunity to set up their products on tables, demonstrate them to IMDA members, and talk about business opportunities. Food and drinks are served, and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal - in other words, conducive to productive meetings.

What type of manufacturers should exhibit?
The Manufacturers Forum isn't for everyone. Vendors enjoying the most success are those whose products:

  • Are FDA-approved or pending.
  • Are new and emerging (not a commodity).
  • Call for direct contact with clinicians for introduction and sale.
